Looking back at 2006, there were a lot of major events and people that changed the path of history. This year was big for socially-conscious consumerism, corporate social responsibility, environmental sustainability, and philanthropy. 2006 also bears witness to a change in the way we communicate and spread information—a shift from mainstream media to grassroots viral communication.
