I’m a Sacramento-born, Bangkok-based, Location Independent Social Media & Web Technologies Consultant, WordPress evangelist, writer and traveler. I’m passionate about helping others break free—liberating themselves from traditional work, creating their own entrepreneurial ventures, living remarkable lives, and doing good for others. I help rockstar entrepreneurs and nonprofit organizations build their web presence with blogs & social networking. My two biggest personal passions are for music and travel, and I’ve loved sharing about lifestyle design, entrepreneurship, personal development, social media and more at Thrilling Heroics since 2006.

  • I’ve been entirely self-employed since September 2007.
  • I have been running my business from the road, light, quick & location-independent since November 2008.
  • Cody McKibben with Warren Buffett in Rocklin, CAI was Co-Founder of Career MasterMinds, a peer mentoring and networking Mastermind group for college students and young professionals in Sacramento, California.
  • I served as the Founding V.P. of Public Relations of the Toastmasters Leadership Club at Sacramento State University.
  • I worked as an assistant to the Dean of Business and development officer at Sacramento State University, where I had the opportunity to meet Warren Buffet, the world’s second-richest man, Autodesk CEO Carl Bass, and others.
  • Through blogging, I have built relationships and worked alongside and for trusted authors including Rajesh Setty, Pamela Slim, Kare Anderson, Ramit Sethi, Penelope Trunk and others.

  • Together with my business partner Brooke Ferguson, I teach rockstar entrepreneurs and freelancers to establish their own strong brands online and expand to a global audience.
