For this month’s 11th edition of the Digital Nomad Blog Carnival, I’m bringing it back home for once. It’s a traveling online carnival that’s hosted at a new blog each month to round up the month’s best posts for readers interested in the live-anywhere, work-anywhere digital nomad lifestyle.
Submissions for this month were a bit sparse, and BlogCarnival.com’s system is unfortunately rather overrun by irrelevant spammers—so I went scouring the web for this month’s best posts (i.e., submit your best stuff for next month’s roundup, and please help spread the word about the carnival). There is a great collection of quality links about the mobile lifestyle here, so please visit the sites and leave your comments, Stumble, Tweet and Digg your favorites to support these helpful, inspiring writers!

Check out this great photo of Ricardo from NuNomad relaxing on his own beach cabana, checking email and getting work done while he gets his base tan on what I assume is Koh Lanta island in the Andaman Sea. If you want the same great lifestyle, read what he has to say about the hard work you’ll need to do first to earn it.

6 Undeniably Unconventional But Exceptionally Effective Tips For Breaking Free
Another awesome piece from Jonny Gibaud! In a guest post at Untemplater, Jonny quit his “boring ass but stupidly high paid project management job” around 8 months ago, started a company and went off traveling the world and claims that he still hasn’t died yet. This is what worked for him.
Next month, we’ll host the roundup on a new site, so make sure you submit your own best posts to the Digital Nomad Blog Carnival page. Enjoy!

Thanks for making me part of this list, Cody!
As I begin my new lifestyle (I’m a little over a month into it now), I am really beginning to feel the freedom (and the challenges!) associated with living a location independent lifestyle. There is so much in life to learn, so much experience, and so much to share with others — I can’t imagine a better way than to live as a world traveling nomadic explorer!
You’ve been a huge inspiration to me and your content and work is rock solid! Keep changing the world!
Great roundup, Cody!
Some great examples of you guys getting and making this happen! Look for my submission to your carnival early next year when I am officially location independent!
Hi Cody,
Thanks for including NuNomad in your line up. What a surprise! I’m sorry we didn’t submit this month. It just got by me.
Thanks for adding my blog post to this fantastic list, Cody, I’m honored
Awesome list and some pretty interesting discoveries (at least for me). Thanks
Awesome round-up, Cody. Isn’t it just amazing how many great posts about the mobile lifestyle are published each month? Just think back to a year ago when they were much harder to come by. Imagine the resources that will be available in another year from now.
Cody
Thanks for the mention, my man – much appreciated!
Hope to meet up in BKK soon…
Chris
Thanks for this – what a great roundup of quality articles!
What a fabulous round up! Thanks so much for including us! I’m always thrilled to see families mentioned because I think that is the wave of the future. I love all the enthusiasm and these great posts that will continue to be wonderful resources for people just learning about “lifestyle design”.
It’s not dead, it’s only begun! Many people don’t even know what a “digital nomad” is yet. But they will!!
Thanks for the list Cody! You’ve given me some valuable reading for a few days and have connected me with people that I wouldn’t have come across had I not been one of your readers. Thanks for “paying it forward”.

What a team! I’ve been at it for 12 years in 3 different countries and never knew that it had a sexy name like this. Thanks for the fab introductions and keep up the good work yourself:)
Thanks for hosting the party Cody… very classy carnival I must say.
Thank you for this round-up Cody! It’s really good to see how many websites there are on this subject! I am nearly finished with my studies and I will be reading a lot of this after that! I especially love those articles about living in Asia, how cheap it is! And it must also be very beautiful!
Regards! Robbert
These post roundups keep getting even better.
Yo Cody – great carnival dude. Thanks for including my video post. Chris’s site is rocking and we are really starting to see people come into their own and start developing the business end of their lifestyle. Great showcase bro!
Thanks for including my interview at WriterAbroad, Cody!
By the way, I’m the kind of location-independent professional who happens to be longterm/semi-permanently in one location. To me, location-independence is to be independent of where I am by finding ways to operate despite its limitations (digital nomadism is a large part of the solution!)… which is what I mean at expat+HAREM by neoculture. I think more and more of us are now living in a place of psychic limbo and have to find ways to be okay with that, and when we do, we’ve found our global niche.
Excellent, I discovered some new quality blogs in that post! I’m not location-independent yet but I’m becoming more certain that the day is getting closer.
Thank you for this! Its JUST what I need as Im trying to find a way to make money online while I travel without having a job to take digital (Im a stripper…). Im also a great copy editor haha.
Anyone know of a blogger who made his own job up, apart from travel blogging? Cos this is what I need to do.
For years Ive spent up to 10hrs a day online and always thought I should get paid to do it since I love it, but still havent found a way. Affiliate marketing is not my bag… :/
*off to read all these great links*
hey i’m thai people welcome to thailand…
Your story of being a digital nomad is inspiring. I’m considering pursuing that as a “career” now.
Actually I’ve started my own blog (wildmockingbirdgirl.wordpress.com). Sorry to plug myself there, but I’m just starting off and you’re someone somewhere in my niche who I think is really great.
Anyways, keep doing what you do.
