Your story of being a digital nomad is inspiring. I’m considering pursuing that as a “career” now. Actually I’ve started my own blog (wildmockingbirdgirl.wordpress.com). Sorry to plug myself there, but I’m just starting off and you’re someone somewhere in my niche who I think is really great.

Thank you for this! Its JUST what I need as Im trying to find a way to make money online while I travel without having a job to take digital (Im a stripper…). Im also a great copy editor haha.

Anyone know of a blogger who made his own job up, apart from travel blogging? Cos this is what I need to do.

For years Ive spent up to 10hrs a day online and always thought I should get paid to do it since I love it, but still havent found a way. Affiliate marketing is not my bag… :/

By the way, I’m the kind of location-independent professional who happens to be longterm/semi-permanently in one location. To me, location-independence is to be independent of where I am by finding ways to operate despite its limitations (digital nomadism is a large part of the solution!)… which is what I mean at expat+HAREM by neoculture. I think more and more of us are now living in a place of psychic limbo and have to find ways to be okay with that, and when we do, we’ve found our global niche.
