[...] Ever wonder where I get my inspiration and motivation? I’ll tell you my secret. I read lots of other wonderful self improvement blogs. Here are some of my favorite articles written by the best in biz. Thrilling Heroics: Cody McKibben is quickly becoming one of my favorite bloggers. Advocating complete lifestyle design reminescent of Tim Ferris and his 4-Hour Work Week, Cody’s witty voice mixed with outstanding tips and links for transforming your life and business are not to be missed. A true pioneer who’s generosity to his readers is blantently clear. One of his most recent posts offered so much wonderful advice I was blown away…Hard Work, a Federal CIO, Travel Ninjas, and the Girl Effect. [...]

I'm really enjoying these roundups. Keep 'em coming Cody, this site is awesome. I really think this topic is something that need to be expanded upon since the explosion of lifestyle design.

Code--I don't follow your web antics and heroics as often as I'd like and should, but I just took a study break to tap into your latest finds. Your posts are so relevant and stimulating, you are truly my e-sherpa!

Thanks for the cover letter link, the article on Brazil (could I possibly teach Portuguaish to ex-pat rugrats?), and both posts on landing consulting gigs (I'm realizing I do more of that than I'm aware and should do more) and what Brooke earned from climbing. The latter especially kicked ass (tell her I said as much please).

@Greg, your post on location-independence was a great one! Let me know anytime you write more on that topic and I'll be happy to share it.

@Jun, it would be great to catch up with you guys. You're more than welcome to visit if you make it out here to Bangkok, just let me know. But I will also be back in California starting March 16th, and my first stop is Indio, CA for the Coachella music festival (might fly into LAX too). I should be in SoCal at least through the 20th, so maybe we could catch up after the concert.

@Dwight, thanks for stopping by to show your support brother!

One of these days we all need to get together and just chill. Maybe Greg and I should roll over to Bangkok and video tape the entire trip!

The Girl Effect is a pretty cool site. Thanks for linking all of these up

Thanks for throwing a link over to the post. The idea of location independent entertainers is something that I have been exploring and will continue to pursue as tools, resources and blogs like the ones mentioned in the article continue to prove that the lifestyle is not only possible, but rewarding.

Keep having fun in Bangkok man!
