Interesting interview - but I'm wondering if demand is being shadowed some from its importance in energy markets. Big Energy may have heavy stakes in carbon fuels, but what happens if the PR blitz succeeds and consumption trends towards renewables? If the demand for renewables outstrips their comfortable rate of replacement, they may be in a tough position to innovate some solutions or be pushed out of market segments.
