Welcome to the debut edition of the first ever Location Independent Blog Carnival! The blog carnival works like this: writers from across the blogosphere can submit articles here for a chance to be featured. Each month, a different blog in the location independent community will host the latest carnival—the editor will review all the submissions and publish the cream of the crop in a monthly roundup post. It should be an effective way for members of the the community to get to know each other and get some well-deserved exposure.
We had quite a few submissions this month, so below are the best in each category. If you write something great this month about location independent and digital nomad life & business, please submit an article for next month’s edition which will be hosted at Get Paid to Write Online.

Thanks for sharing my article! I run a carnival myself, so I know what’s it’s like to not like off-topic submissions, but sometimes it’s hard to tell what the boundary is. I figured that Tim Ferriss’ thoughts were obviously relevant to the location independent lifestyle, so there you go!:) Hopefully someday I’ll be able to really report from the trenches:)

Great carnival, Cody! Especially considering it was the first ever on location independence. It’s a decent amount of work hosting one, so thanks for doing so.

Nice carnival and great idea. I’ve been nomadic now for many years, floating around Asia. Keep up the good work.
