I use Google Custom Search to quickly find helpful articles, tips and tricks, and to decrease the time it takes me to find answers or add references to my blog posts. Anytime I’m curious how to do something, like how to install a software application, how to improve my resume, or how to get the most out of a particular social networking site for instance, my custom-built Thrilling Blog Search Engine returns incredible results! For bloggers who like to hyperlink to external resources and articles as additional support when you write new blog posts, this can serve as a fantastic resource for you just like it has for me, so a while back I released my custom search engine as an open-source public tool for the blogosphere.
The first version of the Blog Search tool already crawled about 50 of the most authoritative, useful blogs on the web, and in the last several months I’ve added nearly 30 more sites for Round 2! See my resources page for the full listing of recommended sites—plus more—but here are the new additions I’ve added to the blog community search project, in no particular order:

This is a very helpful search. It makes so much sense to have a search engine with a narrower focus.
