Read this full article on Thrilling Heroics here: Digital Nomad Blog Carnival #1

Welcome to the debut edition of the first ever Digital Nomad Blog Carnival! The blog carnival works like this: writers from across the blogosphere can submit articles here for a chance to be featured. Each month, a different blog in the location independent community will host the latest carnival—the editor will review all the submissions and publish the cream of the crop in a monthly roundup post. It should be an effective way for members of the the community to get to know each other and get some well-deserved exposure.

We had quite a few submissions this month, so below are the best in each category. If you write something great this month about location independent and digital nomad life & business, please submit an article for next month’s edition which will be hosted at Get Paid to Write Online.

It was updated in 2004, and contains a number of timeless tips for getting decoupled from a fixed-based life and taking those first tentative steps as a nomadling.”

Lifestyle Designing

Anytime I’m curious how to do something, like how to install a software application, how to improve my resume, or how to get the most out of a particular social networking site for instance, my custom-built Thrilling Blog Search Engine returns incredible results! For bloggers who like to hyperlink to external resources and articles as additional support when you write new blog posts, this can serve as a fantastic resource for you just like it has for me, so a while back I released my custom search engine as an open-source public tool for the blogosphere.

See my resources page for the full listing of recommended sites—plus more—but here are the new additions I’ve added to the blog community search project, in no particular order:
