The world’s second richest man gave CNBC an absolutely AWESOME interview in 2006 titled “The Billionaire Next Door.” J.D. Roth has the whole video, broken down with some great supplementary notes!

I just LOVE how down-to-earth Warren Buffett is!! I’ve had the chance to meet him briefly, but even in that time, his attitude made an impression on me. He doesn’t have a posse; no bodyguards; no driver. He doesn’t spend much money on toys. He lives in the same house he purchased in Omaha as a young man for $50K. His idea of happiness is being able to watch his basketball games on a big screen TV in his sweats…

And his biggest secret is doing what you love:

“Really getting to do what you love to do everyday–that’s really the ultimate luxury. And particularly when you get to do it with terrific people around you.”

Check out the video — it gives an excellent insight into the mind of a tremendously successful individual. Buffett has TONS of invaluable advice for students and anyone who wants to have the right attitude to become wealthy.
