I just LOVE how down-to-earth Warren Buffett is!! I’ve had the chance to meet him briefly, but even in that time, his attitude made an impression on me. He doesn’t have a posse; no bodyguards; no driver. He doesn’t spend much money on toys. He lives in the same house he purchased in Omaha as a young man for $50K. His idea of happiness is being able to watch his basketball games on a big screen TV in his sweats…
And his biggest secret is doing what you love:
“Really getting to do what you love to do everyday–that’s really the ultimate luxury. And particularly when you get to do it with terrific people around you.”

Hey, Cody, I do what I love though I’m not a Gen-X or Gen-Y reader. It’s the only way to go! Take it from me as well. And, if you do not get to the things you might want to do in your youth, any age works.
Very true, Robin! Thanks for your input. I guess a lot of us Millenials feel that if we don’t start out our careers with that attitude — of the importance of happiness over salary — that we’ll get stuck in a bad habit though…
